Sandra A Mahovlich

Sandra A Mahovlich, 80, of Eden, NC, passed on February 1, 2022 at Novant Hospital Forsyth surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. A visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the service.  Sandra will lie in repose at Fair Funeral Home from 12-5pm on Friday, February 4, 2022.

Sandra was born July 5, 1941, in Asheville, NC to the late Woodrow Wilson Andrew and Melva Athlene Ramsay Andrew. She was the head cheerleader at Southwest High School. She attended East Carolina University. Sandra volunteered at The Red Cross, served on the board of directors for The Salvation Army, and worked for the Chamber of Commerce.  Sandra also taught kindergarten at Douglas Elementary and Leaksville Methodist.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Steve Mahovlich; sons, Stephen and Matthew Mahovlich; sister, Mary Jane Christie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Neil Andrew.
