Samuel Delane Seals

Samuel “Sambo” Delane Seals, 48 of Eden, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home.

Sambo was born April 20, 1978 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to Roger Lee Seals, Sr. and Hilda Burchell Seals. He worked in construction with Osborne Company for many years.

He loved racing and hanging out in his building making things. Sambo loved hanging out with his brother and drinking a cold beer before his brother’s passing. Sambo was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a lot of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Seals, Sr., brother, Roger Lee Seals, Jr., nephews, Joshua Pennell and Roger Seals, III, and his one true love, Angela Scott.

He is survived by his mother, Hilda Burchell Seals; sister, Tammy Pennell; nephew, Jeffrey Seals and Christian Graves; and nieces, Emileigh Seals and Kayla Pennell; great-nieces, Aria Graves and True Pennell; great-nephews, JJ Seals and Jace Seals, and his favorite uncle Carl Seal.
