Sally Mae Kendrick Mitchell

Sally Mae Kendrick Mitchell, 86, passed away on Saturday evening, May 9, 2020, at Brian Center in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 13, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Sally was born in Critz, Virginia, on September 1, 1933, to the late Grover and Lou Harris Kendrick.  She was a retiree of Spray Cotton Mill.  Sally loved to play Bingo and spending time with family.  She was a fantastic cook.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie East and Margaret Corum, both of Eden; grandchildren, Michelle Bahena (Frankie), Crystal Dawn East (Steve Sams “Little Man”, Jr.), Sylvia Surinia (Mark), Joann Corum Hoover, Bradley Mitchell (Stacie), Brent Mitchell, and Brandon Mitchell (Jennifer); and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wesley Mitchell; son, Ricky Curtis Mitchell; sister, Mattie Earles; and four brothers, Johnny, Raymond, Everette, and James Kendrick.
