Sally Barbee Burton

Sally Barbee Burton age 73 of Eden, passed away on Friday evening February 28, 2020 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A private graveside service will be held at Lawson Cemetery. 

Sally was born December 16, 1946 in Lexington, NC to the late Gilbert and Ethel Swing Barbee.  She was a member of the Leaksville Moravian Church and was a graduate of Catawba College with a degree in Education and English.  She worked for the Eden City Schools and retired from Rockingham County School System. Sally loved traveling to the beach especially the Morehead City area beaches.  She loved cooking for her family.

Surviving are husband, William “Bill” Franklin Burton III of the home and a son William Kirk Burton and wife Bridget of Stoneville.
