Sadie Elaine Hall Turner, 83, of York, SC and formerly of Eden, found her peace Friday, May 15th at home with the ones she loved.
Sadie graduated from Tri-City High School and worked for Fieldcrest-Cannon-Pillowtex for 40 years. She served as a volunteer at Morehead Memorial Hospital during much of her retirement. Sadie was loyal to her Lord and sought his grace in every deed. She enjoyed family gatherings, beautiful music, the ladies of her Eden Bible study, and long visits with friends, especially if they included a card game or a road trip.
She joins in heaven her mother and father, Fred and Susie Hall, her sister Peggy Minter, and her brothers Mike and Cletus Hall. She leaves behind Ted Turner, her husband of 63 years, her brothers Bill and George Hall, her daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Jay Sniker, and two beloved grand-families, Aaron, Jordan, and Rhodes Sniker and Cailen and Maddie Sniker. Gma will be remembered for her warm hugs, indomitable spirit, and infectious wit.
The family will have a private service and there will be no visitation.
Words cannot express our gratitude to Providence Hospice, especially nurse Kellie and caregiver Tracey. Their loving guidance and compassion gave us a journey of joyful memories and quiet dignity. The family requests that all remembrances be made to support their heart-felt work: Providence Care, 500 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730. https://providencecanhelp.com/foundation/
