Rudy "Sanford" Walker

Rudy “Sanford” Walker, 92, of Eden passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Monday, December 4, 2023 at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. There will be no formal visitation.

Sanford was born February 24, 1931, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Dock Rudy Walker and Minnie Jackson Walker. After graduation, Sanford served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Electronic Sales and Service, until his retirement.

Sanford is survived by his daughter, Myra Pulliam of Eden; grandson, Joseph Pulliam, II, (Anna) of Greensboro; sister, Rudene Flynn (John) of Eden; brother, Steve Walker (Billie) of Eden.
In addition to his parents, Sanford is preceded in death by his loving wife, Glyn Walker; brother, Robert “Bobby” Watson Walker; sister, Betty Lou Rice.
