Ruby Silvers Harbour

Ruby Silvers Harbour, 87, passed away on August 6, 2021at UNC Rockingham Rehab and Nursing Center.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, August 9, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home one hour prior to proceeding to the graveside.

Ruby was born April 21, 1934 to the late Avery Silvers and Liddie King Silvers in Burnsville, NC.  She retired from Miller Brewing as a supervisor of the cafeteria. Ms. Harbour attended the King’s Memorial Church in Eden.  Some of her favorite things to do were cooking for her family especially baking cakes.  She loved to travel and go to the beach.

She is survived by her two sons; Norman(Eddie) Harbour (Romona),Tim Harbour (Kim); five grandsons; A.J. Harbour (Bridgette), Brian Harbour (Chelsey), Cpl. Jerry Wayne Harbour, Matthew Harbour (Jenelle) and Michael Harbour (Kasey); great-granddaughter; Audrey Harbour; great-grandsons; Wells Harbour and Palmer Harbour; four sisters, June Laws (Sam),Shirley Dockery (Eddie), Helen Robertson (Sherman), Lola Radford.

Along with her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Larry Harbour; sisters Kathy Silvers, Ruth Spivey, Bertha Harwood; two brothers; Lloyd Silvers and Jr. King.
