Ruby Geraldine (Hale) Turner

Ruby Geraldine (Hale) Turner, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Turner was born on November 29, 1939, to the late James Frank Hale and Mary Elizabeth (Cook) Hale. Mrs. Turner was a member of the Fieldcrest Road Church of God in Draper.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Samuel (Sam) Kenneth Turner of the home; three daughters, Teresa Reynolds (Jimmy) of Eden, Debbie Wright of Raleigh, Donna Proctor (Dennis) of Eden; four sons, Kenny Turner of Reidsville, James Michael Turner of Eden, Mark Turner (Angela) of Stoneville, John Turner (Melissa) of Raleigh; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Wray.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Turner; three brothers, Jim Hale, Wayne Hale and Sammy Hale; daughter-in-law, Shannon McKinney Turner.
