Roy Franklin Kendrick

Roy Franklin Kendrick age 81 of 6594 Hwy 770 Stoneville, NC passed away on Saturday October 18 2014 as result of an automobile accident.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2pm at Meadow View United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Kendrick was born July 5, 1933 in Cleveland, TN to the late Chester and Pearl Woods Kendrick. He was U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Meadow View United Methodist Church. He was part owner and operator of City Dry Cleaners in the Draper section of Eden. Mr. Kendrick retired from the N.C. State Prison Dept after 11 years as a Correctional Officer.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a son, Bryan Kendrick; brothers, C.L., Arthell, Melvin, Bill and Harold Kendrick; sister Laverne K. Warren.

Surviving is his wife, Peggy Joyce Kendrick of the home; daughter, Pamela Marsoobian of Danville, VA and Fresno, CA and Brad Marsoobian of Fresno, CA.; son, Roy Michael Kendrick ; step-daughter, Jessica Rutherford Garner and husband Thomas of Wilmington; brothers, A.J. Kendrick and wife Martha of Asheboro, Dennis Kendrick of Jamestown and Larry Kendrick and wife Pam of Eden; grandchildren, Nick, Sydney and Matt-Matt Marsoobian, Alexis and Michaela Kendrick, Morgan and Seth Corum; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meadow View United Methodist Church, 621 Summitt Road, Eden, NC 27288
