Rossi Barrow Sacrinty

Rossi Barrow Sacrinty, 86, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 25th at Brookdale Facility Reidsville.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 29th at 2:00pm in the Draper Christian Church of Eden, NC.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will follow at the Dan View Cemetery in Eden, NC.

Rossi was born to the late Harry Barrow and Maybud Mangrum in Rockingham County.  She worked as a secretary in the attorney office of Smith-Moore in Greensboro. She graduated in 1955 at Tri-City High School. She also won Miss Tri-City in 1955. Rossi loved spending time feeding the birds in her garden.  She also was especially fond of her cats. Rossi was a member of Draper Christian Church where she sang in the church choir, volunteered with church food ministry and a member of the ladies Love Circle.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bernard C. Brooks, Sr. (June); grandson, Bernard C. Brooks, Jr. (Crystal); great grandchildren, Skylar, Kolton and Jadon Brooks all of Eden; brothers and sisters; Debra Meinhart (Jeff) of Louisburg, NC; Joe Barrow and Lynn Barrow of Eden, Faye Harley Abshire of Ridgeway, VA, Verla Maus of Advance, NC, Cathy Sladky of Summerfield, Watt L. Barrow (Carolyn) of Bassett, VA.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Nicholas William Sacrinty, her daughter, Melissa Gray Brooks, her siblings. Rebecca Rhyne, Mitzi Lhotsky, Buck Barrow, Mark Barrow and Harry Barrow.
