Ronnie Wayne Hardison

Ronnie “Ron” Wayne Hardison, 53, of Eden passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. 

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on June 4, 2024 at Comer’s Chapel Baptist Church, 1990 Bald Hill Loop, Madison, NC, where he was a member. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 5 to 6pm, at the church.

Ronnie was born October 11, 1970, in Washington, NC, to Lemuel Hardison and the late Faye Baldock Hardison. He and his family moved to Winston-Salem when he was three years old. He was a graduate of Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters of Science in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude). He also obtained his C.P.A. at the same time. 

Ronnie worked for firms in Raleigh, Greensboro and Eden, NC. He suffered a stroke a few years ago and has been in failing health since the.

Surviving are his father, Lemuel Hardison (Marilyn), children, Devon Hardison (Danielle) and Jackson Hardison and two grandchildren, and his former spouse, Cindi Hardison, mother of Jackson.

In addition to his mother, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Hardison, and twin brother, Onnie Hardison.
