Ronda Yates Wray

Ronda Faye Yates Wray, 58 of Eden, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at her home.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 at 12pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will follow at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Ronda was born December 24, 1966, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to the late Talmadge Yates and Norvie “Jean” Campbell Yates. She was a graduate of Guilford Technical Community College. Ronda worked as a Senior Mobile Examiner for Apps - Para Medical Services. She enjoyed reading and refurbishing furniture. Ronda loved animals, especially her pets Leevee, Wally, Sprite, and Echo.

Surviving are her husband, John Carlton Wray; children, Zane Xavier Wray and Alexander Killian Wray; sisters, Linda Yates Ward (Lee) and Nancy Yates Stephenson (Tee); nephew, Michael Lee Ward; niece, Kristi M. Ward; great-nephew, Jesse Ward.

In addition to her parents, Ronda is preceded in death by her son, Anthony Wayne Janney.
