Robin Michelle "Misty" Campbell

Robin Michelle "Misty" Campbell transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on June 26, 2025. Misty was born on November 11, 1960. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Misty never met a stranger, and made friends wherever she went. Her family was her heartbeat, and if you were a friend to her, she considered you family. She loved with her whole heart, and she will be greatly missed.

Misty was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Campbell; grandparents, Gether and Mary Campbell, and Jesse and Ola McCraw; great-granddaughter, Maeverly Pike; and her brother, Mike Campbell.

She is survived by her life partner of 16 years, Trey King; daughter, Heather (Chris) Slaughter; son, Christopher (Jessica) Shelton; grandchildren, Caity (Devin) Pike; Kylie (Jonny) Dallas; Callie (Thomas) Mabe; Avery Shelton; Ayden Shelton; Corey Slaughter; Cameron Slaughter; great-grandchildren, Colton Wood; Matthew Mabe; Averly Pike; Penelope Mabe and Everett Pike; brothers, Marty (Barb) Campbell, and Mitch (Nadine) Campbell; sister, Lisa (William) Wilson; sister-in-law, Gwen Campbell; stepbrothers, Mark (Pam) McCraw; Ty McCraw; stepsisters, Shelley (Terry) Miller; and Ivy (Chris) Garrett; multiple nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Family will receive friends at the home of Lisa Wilson 1091 Baker Crossroad. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00am in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. There will be an hour visitation prior to the service at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robby Powell and Rev. Michael Dunn will be officiating.

Burial will follow at the Guerrant Springs Baptist Church, 2505 Guerrant Springs Road, Ruffin, NC.
