Robert Clinton Setliff

Robert “Bobby” Clinton Setliff, 87 of Eden, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Eden Rehabilitation.

There will be no formal service at this time.

Bobby was born November 15, 1938, in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late John Setliff and Fannie Glenn Setliff. Bobby served his country in the United States Army. He worked in electronics at Wal-Mart until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Hubbard Setliff; son, Greg Setliff (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL; stepson, Mark Grogan (Amy) of Shallotte, NC; grandson, Bradley Butler (Lucy); step-granddaughter, Courtney Grogan; great-grandchildren, Raleigh and Matilda; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Faith Butler; sisters, Ruby Setliff and Pauline Setliff Overby; and brothers, Frank Setliff, Paul Setliff, Eugene Setliff, and Bill Setliff.
