Robert Fulp

Robert Junior Fulp, 58, of 1227 Norman Drive in Eden, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 14, 2018, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Fulp Family Cemetery in Stoneville.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, Rocky, at 356 Tanglebrook Trail in Eden.

Mr. Fulp was born February 5, 1960 in Leaksville, NC.  He was affectionately known as "Poppy" and "Bruh" that loved his family, children and grandchildren dearly.  Robert enjoyed fishing and working on cars.  He was able to "fix" most anything.  He enjoyed playing guitar and singing and was a member of True Hope Church.  Robert had worked for 25 years for Chandler Concrete.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gail Fulp of the home;  two sons, Rocky Bibee and wife, Cindy and Charles Austin and wife, Anna, both of Eden;  daughter, Erica Carter of Mayodan;  seven grandchildren, Kristin, Daniel, Isaac, Wesley, Alyssa, Kaylee and Elijah;  his mother, JoAnn Harris Fulp of Stoneville;  brothers, Mike Fulp and wife, Charmaine, of Eden and Jeff Fulp and wife, Pam, of Stoneville;  and two sisters, Donna Carson and Cindy Dillon, both of Stoneville;special caregivers, Charmine, Mike, and Buddy Fulp and also Rick Gibson from Hospice of Rockingham County..

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fulp.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Fair Funeral Home, PO Box 337, Eden, NC  27289,  to assist  with the costs of the funeral.
