Ricky Curtis Mitchell
October 29, 1963 — March 2, 2019
Ricky Curtis Mitchell, age 55 of 725 Caleb Street, Eden passed away on Saturday morning, March 2, 2019 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Ricky was born October 29, 1963 in Rockingham County. He was retired from N.C. Department of Transportation. Ricky enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite football team the Washington Redskins. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his father, Curtis Wesley Mitchell; wife Teresa Mitchell and sister Sandra Mitchell Johnson.
Surviving are sons, Brandon Mitchell and wife Jennifer, Bradley Mitchell and wife Stacie and Brent Mitchell; mother, Sallie K. Mitchell; grandchildren, Colby, Jayse and Aubree; sisters, Debbie East and Margaret Corum.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to his caregivers, girlfriend, Ann Bateman and her daughter, Christy Dillon.
