Richard Ronald Bailey

Richard Ronald Bailey, 85, of Eden passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at UNC Rockingham Health Care in Eden.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. They will receive friends and family at the home.

Richard was born November 7, 1937 in Bluefield, WV, to the late Easley Bryant Bailey and Minnie Lee Mills Bailey. He served his country in the Army. Richard built his career at Karastan Rug Mill as superintendent of the dye house, retiring after 46 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Linda Patton Bailey; children, Bryant Bailey (Lori), Paul Bailey (Cyndi), Cindy Bailey, Ralph Bailey (Amanda), all of Eden; grandchildren, Stephanie Dorner (Dave), Katie Bailey (Tyler), Mark Bailey, Matthew Bailey (Heather), Ryan Bailey (Kaitlyn), Nickolas Bailey; great-grandchildren, Westin Dorner, Addie Dorner, expected Raleigh Bailey; sister, Boots Poff of Bluefield, WV.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his siblings, Una Watson, Sonny Bailey, Glenna Nelson, Doris Mitchum, Gail McCord.
