Revella Maxine Martin Jones

Revella Maxine Martin Jones, 85, passed away Friday morning, December 24, 2010 at Morehead Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 28, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. A native of Rockingham County, Mrs Jones was born July 13, 1925, daughter of the late Nick and Rosa DeHart Martin. She attended Roberts Memorial Baptist Church and was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills. Surviving is her son, Ronnie Jones and wife, Janet of Eden; grandchildren, Kevin Jones and wife, Robin and Lori J. Mabe; Great-granddaughters, Kyra and Kloe Jones; sister, Joyce Land and husband, Gene of Eden; and brother, Karl Martin and wife, Fleta of Eden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Swanson Jones; brother, Roy Martin; and sisters, Evelyn Pulliam and June Kendrick. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, 1501 Lincoln Street in Eden.
