Ralphine Dehart Light

Ralphine DeHart Light, 86, of 443 Lawrence Street in Eden, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 12, 2018, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 16, at North Spray Christian Church, with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Mrs. Light was born July 1, 1931, in Bedford, VA, to the late Ralph and Louise Bruce DeHart.  She was a member of North Spray Christian Church and was a retiree of Ridgeway Clocks.  Ralphine loved her church and her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jean Light Kinyon (Lenzie) of Stoneville and Rhonda Light Knight of Eden;  grandson, Thomas Lowell Knight, Jr., of Eden;  brother-in-law, Charles McGuire of Axton, VA;  and special friends and caregivers, Barbara Spurlin and Patty Terry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Light;  sister, Maxine DeHart McGuire;  and son-in-law, T. L. Knight.
