Ralph J. Campbell

Pastor Ralph J. Campbell, 84 of Greensboro, NC, and formerly of Eden, NC, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, moved to his home in Heaven on July 22, 2016.  

A funeral service will be held on 11 a.m. Tuesday on July 26 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor and friend, Larry Andrews Pastor Skyler Cline will officate. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at home of daughter, Shelley Miller, 1607 NC Highway 61, Whitsett, NC 27377.

Ralph "R.J." Campbell was first and foremost a wholly devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  Anyone who ever met him knew of his love of God and his burning desire for everyone he met to come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Genela McCraw Campbell; sons, Ralph Martin "Marty" Campbell (Barb), Michael Campbell (Gwen) and Mitchell Campbell (Nadine), Mark McCraw (Pam) and Tyler McCraw; daughters, Misty Campbell (Trey) and Lisa Campbell Wilson (William), Shelley Miller (Terry), Ivy Garrett (Chris) and Cara Scott (Stewart); 26 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; special "adopted" daughter, Missy Hayes (Tim); brothers, Ricky Campbell (Teresa), Roy Campbell (Sandy), Clyde Campbell ; sisters, Grace Rhew (Robert), Ruby Burchette (Ron), Barbara Ann Connelly and Rachel Robinson (Dennis).

He was preceded by first wife, Ruth McCraw Campbell; parents Gether and Mary Jackson Campbell; brother, Reid Campbell, sisters, Betty Lanning and Lee "Nonnie" Sharpe.
