Rachel Oleen Christley

Jul 25, 1949 — Aug 31, 2026

In Loving Memory of Rachel Oleen Christley Rachel Oleen Christley, 77, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2026.

A private memorial gathering will be held by the family.

Rachel was one of the hardest-working women anyone could know. She spent many years caring for her family and countless others, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. She found joy in the simple things, especially drinking her coffee every morning.

More importantly, Rachel loved and adored her children and grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through the generations. Rachel had a way of lighting up every room she entered, especially with her beautiful blue eyes and warm spirit. Her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Rachel was born to the late Charlie Seals and Fannie Woods Seals.

She is survived by her brother, Carl Seals, and sister, Linda Seals; her children, Everette Christley Jr., Anna Ellison, James Christley (Tasha), and Tina Stultz; her grandchildren, Brittany Wilson, James Christley Jr., Everette Christley III (Makayla), Christopher Stultz, Faith Broome (Chad), Samantha Stultz, Gavin Christley, Abigail Christley, and Gage Christley; and her great-grandchildren, Layla Christley, Everette Christley IV, Payton Hodges, Charlotte Hodges, Adalynn Christley, Hope Broome, Christopher Stultz, Abilene Stultz, Paisley Stultz, Jontasia Hairston, Jonathon Hairston, and LeAndre Hairston.

Rachel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everette Christley Sr.; her brothers, Frank Seals, James Seals, Calvin Seals, Larry Seals, Brad Seals, and Roger Seals; and her sisters, Dorothy Barker, Ann Dillon, and India Seals.

Though Rachel is no longer with us, her love, strength, and beautiful memory will remain in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched.

Until we meet again, may she rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
