Polly Marana Anderson Fletcher, 61, passed away Sunday morning, May 9, 2021, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 14th, at Overlook Cemetery.  She will lie in repose on Thursday afternoon, 1 – 5 PM, at Fair Funeral Home for those wishing to come by to pay their respects.  The service will be live-streamed on Fair Funeral Home Facebook page. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Polly’s mother, 15020 NC Hwy 87 North in Eden.

Born August 26, 1959 in Leaksville, NC, Polly was the daughter of the Polly Heffinger Anderson.  She held a certificate for Medical Coding and Billing and attended Ridgeway Church of Christ.  

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Mell Fletcher of the home; her mother, Polly Heffinger Anderson; sister, Judy Joyce (Danny) of Madison; niece, Christie Joyce of Wilmington; nephew, Justin Joyce (Courtney) of Garner; two great nieces; two aunts; and numerous cousins.
