Polly Mae Reeves

Polly Mae Reeves, age 92, formerly of 903 Lincoln St. passed away Friday afternoon November 7th, 2014 at Eden Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center. There will be a graveside service held Monday November 10, 11am at Overlook Cemetery in Eden.

Mrs. Reeves was born August 10, 1922 to the late Alonzo and Lula Love Eggleston in Yaeger, WV. She attended First Church Of The Brethren, and worked for a while at Fieldcrest Mills. She was primarily a homemaker.

Surviving her are her son Michael Burroughs and wife Essie of Mt. Airy, NC, her brother Claude Eggleston of Boonesmill, VA, sister Margaret Ann Russell and husband Wilson of Chester, VA, three nieces and two nephews. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband James L. Reeves and her daughter Loretta Faye Burroughs.

There will be no formal visitation. Memorials can be to the Battered Womens Shelter: 229 East Academy St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
