Polly Anna Moore Gunn

Polly Anna Moore Gunn, age 88 , of 1205 First Street , went to be with her Lord on Sunday morning the December 27th 2009. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday the 30th of December at Osborne Baptist Church,of which she was a member ,and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Polly was born in Reidsville, NC July 23, 1921 to the late Joseph T. Moore and Sarah Ellen Sharpe Moore. She retired from Morehead Memorial Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Ellis Gunn, sisters; Lois Lowe and Betty Diamont, and brothers; Harvey and Kenneth Moore. Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Amos of Eden, Teresa Gunn of Madison, Donna Hill of Asheboro and son Thomas Gunn and wife Sally of Blowing Rock. Sisters; Mary Ellen Lovings, Margaret Tickel of Reidsville, Sarah Brame of Summerfield, Amelia Friddle of Stokesdale and brother; Kirby Moore of Reidsville. Grandchildren; Lesia Harris, Sheila Goss, Tina Terry, Christopher Gunn, Seth Gunn, Jonathan Harris, great grandchildren; Jason Harris, Mika Ragland, Joshua Terry, Bo Goss, and Caleb Goss, great great grandchildren; Rylee and Carson Ragland. Numerous neices and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday the 29th of December from 4 - 8 pm at Osborne Baptist Church and other times at the home.
