Phyllis Virginia Bailey Brand

Phyllis Virginia Bailey Brand, 76, passed away March 31st at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6th at 2:00pm in the Overlook Cemetery.

Phyllis was born July 17, 1947 to the late Raleigh Bailey and Lorene Matthews Bailey in Rockingham County. Phyllis worked with the Rockingham County City Schools as a secretary at Burton Grove Elementary School and as a Teacher’s Assistant in other Elementary Schools. She also worked a part-time job as a hostess with Chaney’s Restaurant.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Rebecca Carmack and son in law Robert Magolnick, one grandson, T.J. Carmack and cousin Ann Clark (Jim).

Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Brand.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Ancora Compassionate Care, 2150 NC 65, Reidsville, NC 27320.
