Phillip Warren Lewis, 85, passed away early Monday morning, March 22, 2021, at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 27th, at Lawson Cemetery. The Rockingham County Veteran’s Honor Guard will perform military rites.
Born January 9, 1936 in Rockingham County, NC, Phillip was the son of the late Walter F. Lewis and Lena Houchins Lewis. He was a 1956 graduate of Greensboro High School and a US Army veteran who served a year in Germany. Phillip was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his sister, Modena Price of Walnut Cove; brother, Lowell T. Lewis of Greensboro; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
