Phillip Ray Wood, Jr.

Phillip Ray Wood, Jr., 62, of Eden passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at UNC Health Rockingham in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1-1:45pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden prior to proceeding to the cemetery.

Phillip was born July 29, 1961, in Rockingham County, NC, to Phillip Ray Wood, Sr., and Lorene Blackwell Wood. He worked as an electrician at Amtech Electrical. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his mother, Lorene Blackwell Wood; daughter, Amanda Wood Clark; son, Phillip “Eli” R. Wood, III; grandchildren, Patience Clark and Waylon Wood; brother, William Wood; numerous nieces and nephews.

Phillip is preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Reid Wood; father, Phillip Ray Wood, Sr.; and brother, Dwayne Wood.
