Perciller Mae Church

Perciller Mae Smith Church, 73 of Eden, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

Perciller was born on June 11, 1952 to Ollie Mae Smith and John Smith in Rockingham County. She was a hard worker in the textile mill industry. She loved her family, enjoyed playing Bingo, completing word puzzles, and eating out with family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden officiated by Thomas Hazelwood. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery. Other times at 218 B-Austin Drive in Eden on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 4 to 9 pm.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Terri Rorrer (Todd) and Karen Owen (Jimmy); 5 grandchildren: Tommy Church (Amanda), J.T. Rorrer (Sydney), Brooke Owen, Hannah Owen, and Sidney Owen; 2 great grandchildren: Remington Church and Laiken Rorrer: Siblings: Maynard Smith (Donna), Elizabeth Massey, Johnny Smith (Arlena); Brother-in laws: David Flinchum, and Mike Rigney (Lisa); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Perciller in death are her husband George Church of 46 years, parents: Ollie Mae Smith, John Smith, siblings: Herbet Smith, James Smith, Sister-in law: Linda Church, Charlene Flinchum, Brother-in laws: Wayne Massey, Edward Church, Bobby Church, Roy Church, Tommy Church.
