Penelope "Penny" Lynn Horsley

Penelope “Penny” Lynn Horsley, 49, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2020, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date which will be published on the Fair Funeral Home website.

Penny was born July 5, 1970 in Eden, NC.  She was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1988 before attending Rockingham Community College to continue her education with an eye towards becoming a Radiology Technician.  Penny was a former employee of Morehead Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her beloved mother and tireless caretaker, Patsy Wilson Horsley, of the home;  her brother, Rod Horsley and wife, Kelly, of Stoneville;  and nieces, Kennedy and Kylee Horsley of Stoneville.  Penny was also surrounded by an abundance of love from aunts, uncles and cousins.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Horsley, only 14 months ago; paternal grandparents, Mamie and Leonard Horsley;  and maternal grandparents, Annie and Grady Wilson.

In memory of Penny’s love for children, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
