Peggy Tucker Huffman

Peggy Tucker Huffman, age 82 of 217 River Ridge Road, Eden, NC passed away on Thursday morning September 9, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 186 E Aiken Rd, Eden, NC 27288.  Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Family will receive friends at 10 am, one hour prior to the service.  Family requests that all who attend please wear a facial covering.  

Peggy was born April 9, 1939 in Spartanburg, SC to the late John Wesley Tucker and Irene High Tucker.  She was a graduate of Lees McRae College and retired from Piedmont Surgical Associates as Office Manager.  Peggy was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church where she was the Director of Wesleyan Women for over 25 years. She also worked alongside her husband and son at Huffman Medical, Inc.

Peggy loved to travel, craft, cook, bake, and shop. She was very active in the Garden of Eden Senior Center and enjoyed playing games and spending time with her friends. Peggy most loved time spent with her family and her little Yorkie, Lizzie.
Surviving are Jimmy "Jim" D. Huffman of the home; son Kevin Huffman and wife Carla; daughter, Allison Ormond and husband Macon all of Eden; grandchildren, Katie Ormond, Tori Pierce and husband Devin, Jacob Ormond and Kylie Huffman; sister Ruth Ann Brooks; best friend Robin Cariveau, and special fur-baby, Lizzie.
