Peggy Ann Hale Ratliff

Peggy Ann Hale Ratliff, 85, formally of Kennedy Street in Eden, passed away Saturday, October 28th at Eden Rehab and Healthcare Center.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 1st at 2:00pm in the Ridgeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation and time of fellowship will follow the service at the home of her son, Phillip Ratliff and daughter-in-law Janet, 147 Landfall Drive, Eden, NC.

Peggy was born December 18, 1937 to the late Everette Hale and Evna Bryant Hale in Rockingham Co. In her younger years, Peggy loved visiting her Uncle and riding horses on his farm.  At one time she owned her own hair salon in the Grand Oaks of Eden.  She loved her family and especially her grandson, Jacob.

Peggy is survived by her son, Phillip Ratliff and wife Janet of Eden; grandson, Jacob Ratliff of Chapel Hill, a brother Eric Hale and wife Anna Bess of Raleigh.

Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Archie “Butch” Charles Ratliff, and a son, A.C. Ratliff, Jr.
