Pauline Rodgers Sheehan, 101, of Eden passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at her son’s home in Eden.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Spray Baptist Church from 3-5pm Friday, April 7, 2023.

Pauline was born November 11, 1921, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late George H. Rodgers and Beulah Bryant Rodgers. She was a member of the 1938 graduating class of Leaksville Senior High School. Pauline was a life-long member of Spray Baptist Church. She worked as a store clerk at K-mart for many years until retiring in 1989. Pauline was a member of Widows for Christ at Spray Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Friends Club of Eden.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Sheehan of Eden; daughter, Laura Robertson of Eden; grandchildren, Jamie Escobedo (Jose) of Middlesex, April Stacey (John) of Eden, Jim Robertson (Echo) of Eden; 10 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Harriett Smith of Eden, Mary Nichols of Eden; beloved dogs, Davie Sheehan, Penny Sheehan.

In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Patrick Sheehan; granddaughter, Nannie Gail Brown; great-grandchildren, Zachary Lyons, Heather Lyons; brothers, John Willie Rodgers, Raymond Rodgers; sister, Bettie Moore; beloved dogs, Petie Sheehan, Taz Sheehan.
