Pauline Martin Buckner

Pauline Martin Buckner, 91, formerly of Eden, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2017, at Carillon Assisted Living in Southport, NC.

A graveside service will be held 2 PM on Saturday, March 4, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.  The family will receive friends from 1 - 1:45 PM at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, before proceeding to the cemetery.

Mrs. Buckner was born June 11, 1925  in Danville, VA, to the late Sam Martin and Ollie Land Martin.  She was a retiree of DuPont and played for a bowling league while there. 

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Heffinger and husband, Mike of Sherrill's Ford and Susan Propst and husband, Al of Caswell Beach;  son, Tony Martin and wife, Jan of Lancaster, CA;  eight grandchildren, Michael and Greg Heffinger, Alex Propst, Tera Angel, Michelle Beal, Matthew and David Martin; five great-grandchildren, Gaby Beal, Savannah Angel, Charlotte Angel, Gregory Heffinger, Jr. and Geoffrey Heffinger;  sister, Christine Schabot of Oak Ridge, TN;   half-brothers, John Pearman, Jr of Greensboro and Jimmy Pearman of Tennessee; half sister, Becky Gunn of Eden;  and daughter-in-law, Teri Martin of Eden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tim Martin;  grandson, Daniel Martin;  and half-brother, Edward Martin.
