Patsy Jack Goolsby Joyce

Patsy Jack Goolsby Joyce, 80, of Stoneville, passed on February 15, 2022, at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 2 pm at Hodgin Memorial United Methodist Church with family receiving friends one hour prior to services.  Burial to follow in Stoneville City Cemetery.

Patsy was born May 29, 1941, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Stonewall “Jack” Jackson Goolsby and Daisy Mozelle Joyce Goolsby. She was a member of Hodgin Memorial UMC in Stoneville. Patsy formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Red Cross and volunteered for Leadership Rockingham, as well as being involved in several other clubs and organizations. After retiring from her position as Personnel Manager at Unifi, Patsy worked as a Teller at Fidelity Bank.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband James Larry Joyce of the home; son, James Brian Joyce (Debby) of Troutman, NC; daughter, Julianne Joyce (John T Young) of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Mason Henry Young; granddaughter, Dylan Emery Young.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice of Rockingham County.
