Patricia Shively Durham

Patricia Shively Durham, 78, of 584 Romana Drive in Ridgeway, VA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Lewis-Gale  Medical Center in Salem, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 31, at Fair Funeral Home with burial to follow in Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

A Rockingham County native, Mrs. Durham was born December 4, 1940 to the late John Ware Shively and Mary Gauldin Shively Pilson.  She loved her dog and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Lovette Durham Conner (J.L.) of Fieldale, VA;  son, James Calvin Durham, Jr. (Karen) of Cleveland, TN;  grandchildren, Nicki Cline (Hubert) of Bassett, VA, Lauren Ashley Morris (Andy) of Cleveland, TN, Jessi Price (Jamie) of Bassett, VA, and Ryan Durham and fiancee', Bella, of Cleveland, TN;  great-grandchildren, Maddox Morris, Jayden Price, Jaycee Price, Kimbrel Morris, Murphy Rose Morris;  brother, Sonny Cassady of Smith Mountain Lake, VA;  along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Durham, Sr. and brother, Samuel Jay Pilson.
