Patricia Ann Ellington Taylor

Patricia Taylor, 89, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 3, 2021, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 6, at Stoneville City Cemetery.  She will lie in repose at Fair Funeral Home on Friday, 12 Noon to 6 PM for those wishing to come by to pay their respects.

Born August 10, 1931 in Rockingham County, NC, Patricia was the daughter of the late James Filmore Ellington, Jr. and Bettie Lee Cox Ellington.  She was a caregiver at heart as she enjoyed looking after people.

She is survived by her son, George Coy Taylor, Jr. (Deborah) of Eden; two step-daughters, Glenda Moore (Nelson) and Donna Taylor, both of Eden; three step-great grandchildren, Ericka Carter, Jeffery Blake Hammett and Taylor Carter; and brothers, Roy Ellington (Mary) and Gary Wayne Ellington (Dorothy), both of Stoneville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Coy Taylor, Sr.
