Pamela Eggleston Harris

Pamela Eggleston Harris, 68, of Eden, NC passed away on Tuesday evening December 3,2024, surrounded by her family and friends.

The family will host a celebration of her life which will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at Osborne Baptist Church, Eden, NC at 2:00 p.m.

Pam was born on December 9, 1955 in Leaksville, NC to the late Roy and Vicky Eggleston. She was a longtime member of Osborne Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving others. Pam started her career as a teacher’s assistant at Central Elementary and then furthered her education to become a Registered Nurse. She was an employee of Morehead Memorial Hospital for more than 30 years as a RN, where she retired in 2021. She loved her job as a nurse and caring for her patients was an honor and it brought her joy. She loved spending her free time with her family, making memories with her grandchildren and her many friends. She loved traveling with her late husband Danny and volunteering wherever she could lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her son, Jason Harris (Beth) of Eden; daughter Julie Harris Combs (Nick) of Eden; four grandchildren, Mallory, Alyssa, Brantley, and Danielle.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Osborne Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Pam’s memory to Gibson Hospice House, 2150 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320
