Nellie Younger Wall

Nellie Younger Wall, 65 of Eden, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3-5pm Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

Nellie was born November 29, 1960 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Jerry A. Younger and Deloris Kellam Younger. She was a homemaker and enjoyed all of her family. Nellie loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

Surviving are her daughter, Kendra Shannon (James Tuttle); son, Caleb Christopher Shannon; grandchildren, Jasmine Joyce, Justin Joyce, Waylan Tuttle, Caleb Shannon; great-grandchildren, Royal Tuttle, Bennett Kirkman; brothers, Jerry Dale Younger, Robert Younger; her dear friend and neighbor, Tom Franklin; and her precious cat, Cali.

In addition to her parents, Nellie is preceded in death by her brothers Mark Younger and Mike Younger.
