Nancy Wells Cole

Nancy Wells Cole, 88, of Axton, VA, passed Friday, July 8, 2022 at her home.

A graveside service will be held 3pm Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. Visitation will be held prior to the service, 2:00-2:45pm Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

Nancy was born September 9, 1933 in Henry County, VA, to the late William Clarence Wells and Ray Moore Wells (Wyatt). She worked as a dental assistant for 35 years, retiring in 1993. Nancy was a long time member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church, serving as church organist and choir director. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Cole of Axton, VA. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey J Cole; brother, T. Van Wells; sisters, Joan Wells Spears, Geneva Wells Holley, Marry Ellen Wells Shumen.
