Nancy Joyce Minor

Nancy Joyce Minor, 84, of 117 Oaklawn Street in Stoneville, passed away Tuesday night, October 12, 2010 at Brian Center in Eden. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 15, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Born April 25, 1926 in Rockingham County, Mrs. Minor was the daugther of the late Robert Snead Joyce and Martha Wilson Joyce. She was a member of Stoneville Church of God. Surviving is her son, Richard Taylor of Charlotte; granddaughter, Pamela Floyd and husband, Chris of Raleigh; great-grandson, Logan Floyd of Raleigh; four sisters, Lena Wray of Stoneville, Mary Berry and husband, Ray of Kernersville, Louise Joyce and Thelma Joyce, both of Stoneville; brother, Larry Joyce and wife, Linda of Eden; nieces, Linda Ivey and husband, Pat of Kernersville, Hope Lewis and husband, James of Stoneville, and Laura Bryant and husband, Scott of Eden; great-nephews, Stephen Ivey of Kernersville, J. J. Lewis and Sam Lewis, both of Stoneville; great-nieces, Meredith Ivey of Kernersville and Rose Lewis of Stoneville; and special friends of the family, Bobby Massey, Graham Massey, and Kim Wilson, all of Knightdale. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Troy Madison Taylor second husband, Ralph Minor; and brother, Charles "Pete" Joyce. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 117 Oaklawn Street, Apt. 4 in Stoneville.
