Nancy Jean Harris Slaughter

Nancy Harris Slaughter, 78, passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 29, 2021 with her family at her side at the Gibson House (Hospice Home of Rockingham County) in Reidsville.

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Born May 28, 1942 in Martinsville, VA. Nancy was the daughter of the late Lloyd Harris and Maggie Nichols Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Church of Stoneville; son, Michael Slaughter (Lynn) of Albemarle, NC; two grandchildren, Todd Church and Adam Slaughter; Sisters; Ann Price of Collinsville and Judy Chaney (Ronnie) of Axton; brother, Kenneth Harris (Janie) of Axton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther “Luke” Edward Slaughter.
