Myrtle Frances Clark

Myrtle Frances Clark, 101, passed away Saturday, March 14th at Eden Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17th at 11:00am in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior from 10-11AM. Burial will follow the service at Overlook Cemetery.

Myrtle was born in Ridgeway Virginia to the late William Riley Goard and Pauline Booth Goard. She retired from Spray Cotton Mill with over forty year's of service. In her younger years she loved being outside in her yard planting flowers. She was a kind and loving woman who shared everything she had.

In addition to her parents, Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband Joe Clark, sisters, Bettie Eggleston, Daisy Burgess, Carrie Clark, brothers, Richard Goard and William Goard.

Myrtle is survived by her son Ernest Clark (Jeanette) grandchildren, Lisa Evans (Kevin), Jerry Clark (Connie), Ronnie Clark (Renee) great grandchildren, Ashley Breeding (Brandon), Landon Clark (Mackenzie), Emily Clark and great great grandchildren Liam and Lainey Breeding
