Mitchell Ray O'Dell, Jr.

Mitchell Ray O'Dell, Jr., 34, of 142 Fieldcrest Road in Eden, passed away early Sunday morning, May 5, 2019.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Mitchell was born October 3, 1984 in Eden, NC.  He was of the Christian faith.  Mitchell was self-employed as a handyman and enjoyed working with his hands and building.  He loved spending time with his family and will be truly missed.

He is survived by his father, Mitchell Ray O'Dell, Sr. of Eden;  mother, Theresa Mary Rieson of Eden;  four sisters, Mary Lee Thompson (Bubba) of Eden, Michele Rieson and her fiance', Jorge Sandoval of Bassett, VA, Maria Rieson of Eden and Melissa Pulliam of Pilot Mountain;  six uncles, Mike O'Dell (Mary) of Latta, SC, Timothy O'Dell of Eden, and Paul, Mike, Jamie and Maynard Rieson (Donna);  aunts, Rosa Rieson and Shannon Craddock (Boot); cousin, Christian Joyce (Matt) of Stoneville;  and a large extended family.  

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Maynor W. Rieson, Sr. and Mary Gibbs Rieson and paternal grandparents, Raymond D. O'Dell, Jr. and Thelma Earles O'Dell.
