Mildred Ruth Hylton Manuel

Mildred Ruth Hylton Manuel, 92, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior with her daughters by her side at her home in Eden, NC on Tuesday, January 19, 2021

A Private Funeral Service will be held at Fair Funeral Home in the chapel, 2:00pm Saturday, January 23, 2021.  A graveside service will follow at the Goodwill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. ****The service will be live-streamed on Facebook for those that are unable to attend. Mildred will lie in repose at Fair Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 12 noon to 6:00pm and Saturday morning until time of service.

Mildred was born January 21, 1928 to the late Homer Kyle Hylton and Rosa Lawless  Hylton.  She attended Leaksville High School.  After leaving High School, Mildred worked at American Tobacco, Carolina Drug Co. and retired from Belk as a sales associate.

She is survived by her daughters:  Micki Neal of Eden, Denise Smith of Elon, Karen White (Tim) of Stoneville, Sister: Alene Meade (Frank), Brothers:  Clyde “Buster” Hylton and Buddy Hylton all of Eden. Seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Manuel, Sisters:  Ethel Morgan, Hazel Findley, Vivian Flynn, Brother: Raymond Hylton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1151 Virginia Street, Eden, NC  27288
