Mildred Hendren Crowson

Mildred Hendren Crowson, 99, formerly of Franklin Drive in Eden, passed away early Monday morning, June 6, 2016, at Morehead Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 12, at Overlook Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Crowson was born August 22, 1916 in Alexander County, NC, to the late Charles Jones Hendren and Jo Harris Hendren.  She was a member of Stony Point Baptist Church and a retired beautician.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeane Sharpe and husband, Allen, of Statesville;  son, William D. Crowson, Jr. of Reidsville;  and sister, Marjorie Hager of Statesville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Crowson, Sr.
