Michael Adam Moore, age 36, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away on January 3, 2026 leaving behind a devoted family and a close community who will honor and cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held at 5pm Friday, January 23, 2026, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden.
Adam is survived by his wife, Robin Shipley Moore; stepdaughter, Alexis Hummel; and his beloved grandchildren, Hayzen, Highland, and Aveya McGee all of Zainesville, Ohio. Also survived by loving parents, Marty and Terry Moore of Eden, N.C. his siblings, Justin Moore (Amanda) of New Bern, N.C. and Macy Moore of Thomasville, N.C., and one niece Lydia Moore.
Adam held a deep appreciation for the sport of boxing, through which he found purpose, discipline, and belonging. He was especially grateful for the guidance and mentorship of his coach, Larry Barker, whose influence played a meaningful role in his life. The boxing community was an important part of Adam’s life and remains a lasting part of his legacy.
Adam will be remembered for his dedication, strength, and kindness, which touched the lives of many. His compassion and generosity of spirit left a meaningful impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His memory will be honored and carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
