Michael Olen Hicks, age 38, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Friday, November 16, 2018.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 24, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.
Michael was born October 20, 1980 in Modesto, CA. He was a graduate of Person High School in Roxboro, NC and of Piedmont Community College with an Associates Degree in Metallurgy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Heather Via Hicks of the home; parents, Brian and Micki Faught Lutz of Roxboro; his sisters, Jennifer Suttle and Dawn Lutz, both of Roxboro; nieces, Carrie Suttle and Arabella Via; and nephews, Casey Suttle and River Via; father- and mother-in-law, Jack and Melissa Via of Stoneville; and brother-in-law, Jared Via and wife, Dakota of Palm Coast, FL.
