Michael Heath Ray

Michael Heath Ray, 25, of 13956 NC 87 Hwy, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010. A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, January 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Michael was born November 6, 1984 in Rockingham County. He was enjoying his job as a stay-at-home dad for his new daughter. Surviving is his infant daughter, Abigayle Brianna Ray of the home; mother, Cynthia Corum Gibson of Eden; father, Heath Ray of Eden; fiancee' and mother of his child, Kelli Jones of the home; brother, Matthew Ray of Florida; and three sisters, Holly Ray of Utah, Samantha Gibson and Kaitlyn Ray, both of Eden. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judith Watkins; paternal grandfather, H. B. Ray; and step-father, Robert Gibson.
