Michael Dean Wray

Michael Dean Wray, age 57, of Stoneville, NC passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 as a result of an accident.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13, at 11am at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Dan View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 12th from 5 to 7pm, at Fair Funeral Home.

Michael was born on March 13, 1964, in Leaksville to the late Ivan and Lillian Hooker Wray. Michael was a graduate of Morehead High School and received several degrees from RCC, Elon University and Pembroke University. He was the Accounting Manager for Mabe Trucking Company. Michael enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and home remodeling projects.

Surviving are wife, Lisa Griffin Wray of the home; sons, Jordan Lee Goggin of TN and Justin Bennett Goggin and wife Kristin and their son Riley of Eden; sisters, Linda Gibson of Reidsville and Penny Eaton and husband Van of Eden; brothers, Keith Wray and wife Faye of Eden and Jeff Wray of Reidsville; numerous nieces and nephews; his favorite fur babies, Goose and Elvi.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by sisters, Debra Pendleton and Sharon Gregory.
