Melvin Jackson Fuller Jr.

Melvin “Jack” Fuller Jr., age 56, of Eden, N.C., passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at Trinity Wesleyan Church on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden, N.C., with Military Honor to be performed by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard.  

Visitation will be on Friday, August 20, at Fair Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00p.m.

Melvin was born in Eden, NC, on January 22, 1965 to the late Peggy Ann (Church) Fuller and Melvin Jackson Fuller Sr. He was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. Melvin was formerly employed with Wilson Trucking Company for seventeen years and also worked for Fieldcrest in the shipping department. He most recently was employed with Press Glass as a lead man in Stoneville, N.C. Melvin was a pastor at New Fountain of Faith for five years and also an assistant pastor at Old Time Baptist Church for eight years. He also loved being involved in the prison ministry in Wentworth, N.C. and in Virginia.

Jack is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Susan Ann (Shreve) Fuller. He is also survived by his three children, Ethan Fuller of Martinsville, V.A.; Zachary Fuller of Rougemont, N.C. and Sarah (Hunter) Vernon of Eden, N.C. Also surviving is his sister, Connie Church of Eden, N.C. and his father, Melvin Jackson Fuller Sr. of Stoneville, N.C.
